Working Class Magazine with be joining us on September 19 and passing out their the new Relationship issue. Working Class represents a community of local artists in New York. They are a Brooklyn-based quarterly zine that show cases various talents from all aspects of of the word. Writers, photographers, poets, illustrators, models, small business owners, actors and musicians. Also we are pleased to be offering moonshine from Kings County Distillery…made in Brooklyn. Kings County Vintage Goods will be on hand with clothing, accessories, housewares and trinkets…along with a host of other Brooklyn companies…Sour Puss Pickles, Sassafrass & Sage, Eponymy Boutique, Mifflin Jewelry, Ghost Pepper, Bam’s Beef Jerky, Anna’s Potions and Lotions and more…

EPONYMY will host ice sculptor Thomas Brown (carving begins at 6 pm outside store front 466 Bergen Street – finished sculpture will become part of Eponymy’s window display for the rest of the evening) and expertly mixed old fashioned Punch will be provided by local bar, Weatherup. We will debut Brooklyn’s Mifflin Jewe…lry fall collection and attendees will get first dibs on our exquisite fall vintage. Eponymy will also debut it’s new art photography fall group show curated by mr and mrs amani olu. Featured artists include: Sam Falls, Stephanie Halmos, Erica Allen, Elizabeth Bernstein, Gigi Gatewood, Kate Steciw and Tim Briner.

The Bergen Lot Party will also kick off on Friday, September 10th at 6 pm with individual boutiques staying open until 11 pm, hosting in-store events in conjunction with Vogue’s Fashion’s Night Out 2010 and by occupying the empty lot between 450 & 448 Bergen Street for a Lot Party from 8-11pm. Food and drink will be provided by Bark Hot Dogs, Sun In Bloom and Melt and other participating businesses include lululemon, Babeland, Bergen Street Comics, Ride Brooklyn, Bump, and Private Stock. The Bergen Lot Party will raise money for Brooklyn based charity The Center for Anti-Violence Education with the sale of raffle tickets. Prizes to include $50 gift certificates to all participating businesses.

The festivities will continue on Saturday Sept 11 all day with food, drink and activities in The Bergen Lot including yoga, a children’s concert, brunch, contests and more. EPONYMY will host a game of “Malcontent Croquet” staring extravagantly wardrobed local business owners and artists in the empty lot between 450 & 448 Bergen Street from 6:00-7:30 pm.
